Advocacy, Social and Recreational Programs for People with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities living in Fort Bend County.
The Arc of Fort Bend County ensures opportunities for people with IDD to maximize their quality of life within our community. We do that through providing several social and recreational programs for people in their teens, twenty’s, and into mature adulthood. We also advocate for and with people with IDD for legislative, education and other IDD quality-of-life issues. We have an excellent information and referral program providing individualized guidance about school, transitioning to adulthood and referral to other organizations to help with guardianship, Medicaid Waiver/HCS programs, housing options, employment, and much more.
